RINGSPANN was founded in 1944 and is headquartered in Bad Homburg near Frankfurt, Germany. It currently employs worldwide over 500 employees in 21 international companies.
RINGSPANN is a leading technology manufacturer in freewheels, industrial brakes, shaft-hub-connections, overload clutches, heavy-duty couplings, industry couplings and precision clamping fixtures. The company has ten manufacturing facilities in Germany and abroad.
In the year 2017, a new plant for expanding the production of brakes, couplings and shaft-hub-connections was commissioned in Bad Homburg. In the year 2023, this plant was significantly expanded with an additional production hall and office wing.

Every year, we supply more than 7500 customers worldwide in the industries of industrial gears and geared motors, mining, harbour and industrial cranes, marine and offshore, steel and metal plants, cement plants, material handling, energy plants, e-bike drives, mobile hybrid drives and e-mobility, pulp and paper, vehicle construction, rail, machine tools well as in general machine building.
